One in five. That’s how many Canadians will personally experience some form of mental illness in their lifetime. It’s a staggering number, and one that cannot be ignored. While society has taken great strides in raising awareness of mental health struggles, the stigma remains. Those affected still experience difficulty opening up about their illness—especially at work.
